Bath Savings Names New Branch Manager in Bath

April 20, 2016

Bath Savings Institution President Glenn Hutchinson has announced the retirement of Patricia J. Taggart. Taggart joined Bath Savings as a teller 18 years ago. She is retiring as vice president and branch manager of the bank's main office in Bath. During her tenure, the deposit base of the Bath office more than doubled, from $103 million in 2004 to over $290 million today. Hutchinson said, “We’ve been fortunate to have Pat Taggart leading our main office for so long. She has provided a high level of customer service and a strong commitment to the community. Under her leadership the branch grew and flourished. We will miss her.”

Barbara Tuttle of Pownal has been named the new Bath branch manager. Assistant Vice President Tuttle has been with Bath Savings for 18 years. She has served as the assistant branch manager of the Freeport office and most recently as the branch manager of the bank’s Yarmouth branch. Tuttle attended the University of Maine, majoring in Business Administration. She brings a strong focus on customer service and 25 years of banking experience to her new position in Bath.

President Hutchinson says, “Barbara is a strong leader who understands our customers’ needs. We are pleased to have a talented, experienced branch manager to bring to the main office. We can’t wait for our Bath customers to get to know her.”
