Daina H. Hill Elected as a Director of Bar Harbor Bankshares and Bar Harbor Bank & Trust

BAR HARBOR, Maine– On May 19, 2015, Daina H. Hill was elected to serve as a Director of both Bar Harbor Bank & Trust and its parent company, Bar Harbor Bankshares (NYSE MKT: BHB).

Daina Hill of Lincolnville, Maine, is the owner of the Inn at Sunrise Point. Before relocating to Maine in 2008, Daina was a member of the New York and Washington, D.C. Bar Associations and was employed as General Counsel and Managing Director of U.S. Trust Corporation and affiliates from May 2002 through October 2006. Prior to her time at U.S. Trust, Daina served as a Vice President of Citibank N.A. from 1987-2002, holding various positions including Deputy General Counsel of Citigroup Emerging Markets and General Counsel for The Citibank Private Bank.

A native of Arkansas, Daina received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and her J.D. from the National Law Center at George Washington University. In her community, Daina is a member of the Town of Lincolnville’s Budget Committee, Lincolnville Business group, and is a Director at Home Counselors Inc. Previously, Daina served as a Director for the Penobscot Bay Chamber of Commerce, as well as two terms as Treasurer.
