Debra Taylor, MBA, has been named as Sweetser’s President and Chief Executive Officer. Debra has been an integral part of the Sweetser family for 14 years, the last seven of which she has helmed the Finance Department in the role of Vice President. Debra has replaced Carl Pendleton, who is retiring after 36 years with the organization; she is only the fifth person to hold the President and Chief Executive Officer position at Sweetser, and the first woman.
Debra holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Maine and a BA in Economics from the University of Maine. Debra lives in Wells with her family.
Ginny Gentile, CPA, has joined Sweetser, replacing Debra Taylor, in the role of Vice President for Finance. Ginny comes to Sweetser from The Opportunity Alliance, where she was the Chief Financial Officer for over 10 years. Prior to The Opportunity Alliance, Ginny was Audit Manager at Baker Newman Noyes.
Ginny holds a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern Maine, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ginny lives in Portland.
