Electricity Maine Launches Powertohelp.com

Electricity Maine, part of the Provider Power family of companies (along with ENH Power and Provider Power Mass) has launched powertohelp.com, a new branded content site focused around the topics of energy savings, efficiency and featuring stories about organizations and individuals that give back to their communities.

Provider Power’s “Power to Help” initiative supports non-profit and community groups in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The new website will serve as an extension of the program, highlighting Provider Power’s partners and other individuals and organizations doing amazing work across the region.

“Few people would disagree that that the health and well-being of our residents, businesses, and communities are interconnected. All across New England, there are great examples of entrepreneurs or as we like to say, ‘capitalists with heart,’ who balance people with profits,” said Will Fessenden, Provider Power’s Director of Media & Content. “Powertohelp.com is dedicated to telling those stories at a deeper level. What drives these business and non-profit leaders and makes them so successful?”  In addition to these stories, the site will feature energy savings tips that consumers can easily implement.

To aid in creating this content, Provider Power has hired Scarborough, Maine-based content marketing agency, Eucalypt Media (www.eucalyptmedia.com) and Maine author, freelance writer, and blogger, Jim Baumer (jimbaumer.com)  Both have high journalistic standards, as well as extensive experience writing about economic and non-profit development.

“This was a true collaborative effort,” said Fessenden. “From our owners, employees, and more than 60 non-profit partners across New England, we sought out advice and direction as to what was important to them. This is a very exciting project.”
