Come to Castle Tucker for an afternoon of historical fun. Take a tour of this unique mansion for a fascinating view of the lives of a Victorian Wiscasset family. Home to the Tuckers for almost 150 years, Castle Tucker is filled with original nineteenth-century furnishings and decoration including a freestanding, elliptical staircase. Check out the Tuckers' carriage barn filled with their sleigh and carriages, then take a free ride around our historic neighborhood in Meadow Creek Farm's horse-drawn wagon, pulled by beautiful Belgian horses Ben and Bill. Wiscasset Middle School’s 7th Graders will show how to play croquet and perform segments of a play written by the Tucker children. There will also be a bake sale to benefit the school. Free horse-drawn wagon rides. House tours $5.
