Please plan to come to our next Five Rivers Arts Alliance Members Meeting which will be held on Tuesday, April 1 at 7PM at the Frontier in Brunswick.
We will be hosting a conversation with Julie Richard, Executive Director of the Maine Arts Commission. Julie will speak about the strategic cultural planning effort currently underway at the Maine Arts Commission as well as the revamped grants program that the commission is offering. Julie says, “I am looking for ideas and feedback from local artists to be included in the Commission’s strategic plan.” She will also address the role of local arts councils and the Maine Arts Commission in serving the cultural needs of communities throughout the state.
The meeting is free to Five Rivers members; $5 donation for others or join at the event. Join us for dinner or happy hour from 5-7PM with special happy hour discounts offered by the Frontier. Space is limited, please RSVP early at 5raateam@gmail.com or on the phone 207-798-6964 to reserve a seat.
