Community Calendar
A documentary focusing on the current battle over healthcare in the United States will kick off “Our Health,” a film and discussion series offered jointly by Mid Coast Hospital, Access Health, and Frontier Cinema and Café. The first film, “Escape Fire” will be shown on August 28 at Frontier, 14 Maine Street in Brunswick.
Produced by an award winning crew, Escape Fire “tackles one of the most pressing issues of our time: what can be done to save our broken medical system?” An expert panel including Mid Coast Health President and CEO Lois N. Skillings and Carl DeMars, MD, will lead a discussion about this ongoing debate and focus on local efforts to address these concerns.
