The Rotary Club of Bath is pleased to announce their first annual 5K run/walk on Saturday, October 11, 2014. The Bath Rotary 4-Way 5K Run/Walk is presented by Mid Coast Hospital. The event will start at 8:00 a.m.

Mid Coast Hospital’s thoughtful and generous donation represents a powerful commitment to this charitable community event. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club of Bath, a nonprofit service that is involved in local, national, and international charitable activities. Sponsorship opportunities at various levels for the 2014 event are still available. Information about sponsorships can be found at www.bathrotary.org under the downloads section.

The race will be timed. The event will start and end near the future Mid Coast Medical Group-Bath location at 108 Centre Street (site of the former Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine ReStore).

Registration fees are: $20 before October 10, and $25 on race-day. This year ALL registered race participants will receive a free Sport-Tek t-shirt. Distribution of t-shirts and bibs will only occur at registration check-in on the day of the race. No other pickups are available. Registration and bib/t-shirt pick up will be from 6:15 - 7:30 a.m. in the parking lot near 108 Centre Street.

Prizes will be awarded to:

• 1st Place Overall Female/Male $100
• 2nd Place Overall Female/Male $50
• Top finishers in their age category.
