Gubernatorial Candidates Address Key Questions
at Thornton Oaks Maine Matters! Forum
Thornton Oaks Retirement Community recognizes that Maine is at a critical point in its history as we struggle with the oldest population in the country, the search for affordable healthcare legislation to protect our residents, and a desperate need for business growth. Now, possibly more than ever, electing the best candidate to represent Maine as our next Governor is a decision that must not be taken lightly.
To accommodate the candidates busy schedules, Thornton Oaks will hold Candidate Forums called Maine Matters - The Candidates Speak. Professional journalist James McCarthy, from Maine Biz magazine, will moderate the forums. Candidates will open with a statement, answer prepared questions from the moderator, and the hour will close with questions from the audience.
The first Candidate Forum will feature Eliot Cutler and will be held this Sunday, September 21st from 5:30p.m. - 6:30p.m. at Thornton Oaks Retirement Community, 25 Thornton Way, Brunswick, Maine.
If you care about what happens to Maine, please join us for both sessions of Maine Matters - The Candidates Speak. Give each candidate the opportunity to answer your questions so you may make an educated decision about who will move Maine forward.
The forums are FREE and Open to the Public.
