Module 1: Tool Maintenance and Sharpening Module 2: Relief Wood Carving. Students will be working on their own pieces of work under the guidance of the instructor. Module 3: Three Dimensional Wood Carving (In the round) – Students will be working on their own piece focusing on in the round carving during this module. The instructor will guide them through the process of carving their piece. Module 4: Chip carving and Whittling: Again, the students will working on their own piece of work that will focus on chip carving and whittling.If you want to get serious about wood carving, this is the course for you. It will span 4 months on 12 Sunday afternoons, from 1 to 3pm and will begin on Sunday, October 12th.
