Home of the famous Fish & Chips 

We are a family owned business started in 2010 with our vendor trailer named Sylvester’s Fish & Chips. We attended fairs and events around Maine serving fried clams, shrimp, scallops and haddock, hand cut French fries and hand cut & breaded onion rings along with a few other items. We have received two awards for “Best Food” at the Fryeburg Fair and one award at the Windsor for the “Betterment to the Fair”. We also receive countless compliments for our food and our attention to cleanliness. In the spring of 2012 we built and opened our stationary take out location at Cooks Corner in Brunswick serving the same items along with soups, chowders, sandwiches and specials. In the spring of 2014 we purchased a restaurant in Topsham and sold our take out location in Brunswick. We will continue to operate our vendor trailer at some fairs and events during the spring, summer and fall months in the future along with our newest venture, Sylvester’s Restaurant llc.

Our new location is located at 235 Lewiston Road, Route 196 in Topsham Maine. (just over I-295 headed towards Lisbon on the right hand side.) Here we offer a casual full service restaurant serving breakfast and lunch 7 days a week from 6:00 am. to 2:00 pm. We will open for dinners starting December 4, 2014. We will be open for dinner Thursday till 8:00 pm. Friday and Saturday till 9:00 pm. Sunday through Wednesday we will continue to close at 2:00 pm. We offer our famous fried seafood dinners along with our hand cut & breaded onion rings, baked haddock and scallop dishes, Ribeye steak dinner, Ham steak dinners, salads, along with daily home cooked specials such as baked macaroni & cheese, meatloaf, baked ham, shrimp scampi, soups, chowders, appetizers, beer, wine and more.
