Mid Coast Medical Group–Topsham Family Practice will be hosting an open house on Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 a.m. – noon at the medical office building on Wellness Way, just off Route 196 in Topsham. Children and adults are invited to meet the providers, tour the facility, and join in a fun Storywalk activity. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

Mid Coast Medical Group–Topsham Family Practice opened in autumn 2014, offering routine and preventive care for families and individuals. The providers, Paul Hyman, MD, Deirdre Heersink, DO, and Mary Lake, RNC-S, MSN, FNP, will be available during the open house to answer questions and discuss the care they provide, while also showcasing their practice.

Event attendees will have the opportunity to take part in Mid Coast Hospital’s Storywalk, a walk through reading activity featuring “Wild Animal Alphabet” by popular Maine author and illustrator Dahlov Ipcar. Storywalks are a unique way to promote literacy and physical activity as participants walk from page to page to read a book that will be spread throughout the practice during the event.
