Financial statement audits help non-profit organizations demonstrate good governance and remain accountable to their donors and funders. This session will discuss what an audit is, what the process involves, and how management can best prepare for the audit to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all parties. Management of organizations undergoing their first-time audit as well as those experienced with an annual audit will both gain greater confidence in what they should be doing to help the auditor. This webinar will also provide information on the similar preparation needed for a review of financial statements.


By the End of This Session, Participants Will:

Understand the overall audit or review process
Anticipate the needs of the auditor or public accountant so that the process goes smoothly
Know what questions to ask the auditor or public accountant to help management reduce the work needed for the audit or review, and hence lower the associated cost
