College Guild and Bowdoin College are pleased to announce a fascinating presentation by famed author of "The Warden Wore Pink." Tekla Dennison Miller, Michigan's first female warden at an all-male maximum security prison, flies in from Colorado on 10.19.16 to present in Brunswick (Visual Arts Center "Beam" building at Bowdoin College, at 7:15 p.m.) Tekla's book, available for personal autographs after the presentation, received high reviews from the nation's foremost literary critique, The Library Journal, and is available at bookstores nationwide and on Amazon with a 4.5 star rating. Currently working on her fourth novel., she earned an honorary doctorate degree in humane studies when she was commencement speaker at Cazenovia College, NY.
