Vision Statement
Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber is a local business association that is committed to the growth and development of our members. The Chamber works collaboratively with state, regional and local groups to promote our members through economic, legislative, educational, tourist and cultural initiatives, and maintains a visible presence in all 16 of the communities we represent.
In support of our Vision, we commit to:
- serving our different membership segments in a way that allows them to clearly appreciate the benefits of membership;
- focusing on our business members' growth while maintaining collaborative relationships with our non-profits, creative and government entities;
- being financially responsible in the budgeting of our resources;
- advocating for regional economic development activities that support our members; and
- being the regional voice for our members in our communities and in Augusta.
