BAR HARBOR BANK & TRUST RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEES FOR YEARS OF SERVICE

Bar Harbor, Maine – Recently Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees and directors were recognized for their years of service at the Bank.  In addition, several employees were acknowledged for their continuing education achievements. 

Judy Newenham, AVP/Retail Lending, was recognized for 40 years of service to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.  Barbara Hepburn, Human Resources Project Specialist, was recognized for 35 years of service.  Recognized for 30 years of service to the Bank is Margie Gray, AVP/Product Development & Research.  

Those recognized for 25 years of service at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust include Debbie Mitchell-Dow, AVP/Branch Relationship Manager, and Maureen Kane, Customer Service Representative III, both of Bar Harbor.  Bob Phillips (Director); Terry Tracy (AVP/Retail Banking); and Lynn Huffman (Customer Service Representative III) were recognized for 20 years of service to the Bank. 

For 15 years of service, Bob Lavoie (VP Information Systems), Allyson Wallace (Customer Service Specialist), Deena Allen (Servicing and Quality Assurance Specialist), Julie Redman (Servicing and Quality Assurance Specialist), Gerry Shencavitz (EVP/Chief Financial Officer), Elena Martin (VP/Electronic Banking), and Julie Zimmerman (Trust Officer) were recognized. 

Recognized for ten years of service at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust were Connie Shea (Director), Martha Dudman (Director), David Woodside (Director), Susan Albee (Customer Service Manager), Russ Patton (VP/Information Security Officer),  Vicki Austin (Account and Transaction Processing Specialist), Pam Curativo (Trust Supervisor), Audrey Eaton (VP/Retail & Residential Lending), Cheryl Mullen (SVP/Marketing & Sales), Judi Anderson (VP/Credit Administration), Dawn Crabtree (VP/Operations), Ann Upham (AVP/Retail & Residential Lending) and Lisa Veazie (VP/Regional Branch Relationship Manager).

Five year services awards were presented to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees: Melissa Hinckley, Ron Hamilton, Kirsten Hamilton, Nicole Hinkel, Edith Schwartz, Mary Hays, Maggie Hutchinson, Cathy Higgins, Stephanie Lewis, Lisa Holmes, Jim Lacasse, Ebony Patton, Ashley Matthews and Sarah Cormier.

Two Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees successfully completed all requirements of the Northern New England School of Banking and received a Certificate of Completion: Sara O’Connell (AVP/Human Resources) and Lucas Morris (AVP/Portfolio Manager).  The Northern New England School of Banking is a four-day residence session conducted annually in October. The school is designed as a “junior college” level program for low- to mid-level bank employees who have exhibited the capacity to advance themselves to positions of greater responsibility.

The Northern New England Center for Financial Training offers certificates and diplomas in several courses of study; earned through completing numerous classes requiring many hours of study.  Diplomas were received by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees June Atherton (Advanced Financial Services Diploma) and Greg Jones (Banking and Finance Diploma).  Two employees at the Topsham branch earned certificates: Marian Caouette (Supervisor Certificate) and Michelle Curtis (Managers as Leaders Certificate).  Employees at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s Winter Harbor branch earned several certificates: Candy Pendleton (Call Center Representative Certificate, Customer Service Representative Certificate, and Personal Banking Certificate); Heather Brown (Call Center Representative Certificate, Customer Service Representative Certificate, and Personal Banking Certificate); and Jenna Beal (Customer Service Representative Certificate).  The following Milbridge employees earned certificates: Shelley Gray (Call Center Representative Certificate and Bank Marketing Diploma); Alexandra Orcutt (Bank Teller Certificate and Advanced Bank Teller Certificate); and Dena Gatcomb (Customer Service Associate Certificate).  Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees in Machias also earned certificates: Sarah Cormier (Supervisor Certificate) and Lynn Huffman (Customer Service Associate Certificate).
