BAR HARBOR BANK & TRUST RECOGNIZES EMPLOYEES FOR YEARS OF SERVICE

Bar Harbor, Maine –Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has recognized employees and directors for their years of service at the Bank.  In addition, several employees have been acknowledged for their continuing education achievements. 

Paula Lamoureux, Customer Service Representative III (Northeast Harbor), was recognized for 35 years of service to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.  Marcia Bender, SVP/Operations and BSA Officer (Bar Harbor), was recognized for 30 years of service.  Recognized for 25 years of service to the Bank were Marlene Lloyd, Personal Banking (Ellsworth), and Kim Wright, VP Finance (Augusta).

Judy Richards, SQA Specialist (Ellsworth), was recognized for 20 years of service at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.  Several employees were recognized for 15 years of service including Jenny Saunders, Financial Consultant with Bar Harbor Financial Services (Ellsworth); Lara Horner VP/Trust Operations with Bar Harbor Trust Services (Ellsworth); Roger White, VP/Special projects (Augusta); and Gwen Abbott, ATP Specialist (Ellsworth), Faye Allen, Deposit Services Officer (Ellsworth); and Nancy Hastings, Customer Service Representative II (Blue Hill).

Recognized for 10 years of service at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust were Amanda Robbins, Sales Assistant & Operations Specialist with Bar Harbor Financial Services (Ellsworth); Andrea Parker, ATP Manager (Ellsworth); Jody Warren, AVP/Branch Relationship Manager (Ellsworth) Ken Smith, Director (Bar Harbor); Todd Starbird, RVP/Relationship Manager (Rockland); and Scott Toothaker, Director (Ellsworth).

Five year service awards were presented to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees: Karri Bailey, Xin Wesseling, Charleen Beal, Jane Lambert, Joe Pagan, Dylan Mooney, Heather Brown, Candy Pendleton, Ginny Barnes and Amanda Ohmeis.

Two Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees successfully completed all requirements of the Northern New England School of Banking and received a Certificate of Completion: Ginny MacLeod (Southwest Harbor) and Debbie Cummings (Northeast Harbor/Somesville).  The Northern New England School of Banking is a four-day residence session conducted annually in October. The school is designed as a “junior college” level program for low- to mid-level bank employees who have exhibited the capacity to advance themselves to positions of greater responsibility.

The Northern New England Center for Financial Training offers certificates and diplomas in several courses of study; earned through completing numerous classes requiring many hours of study.  Two employees received their Certified Teller designations: Heather Brown (Winter Harbor) and April Coombs (Deer Isle). Diplomas were received by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees Brenda Condon in Deer Isle (Banking and Finance) and Shelley Gray in Milbridge (Retail Branch Management). Those receiving Supervisor Certificates included Allyson Wallace (Bar Harbor), Chelsea Sawyer (Ellsworth), Jenny Saunders (Bar Harbor Financial Services in Ellsworth), Sarah Robinson (Bar Harbor Trust Services in Ellsworth), Claire Ohmeis (Southwest Harbor), Ivy Heal (Rockland) and Debbie Cummings (Northeast Harbor/Somesville).  In Milbridge, Krystal Jordan and Alex Orcutt both received their Small Business Banking Certificate.  Jenna Beal (Milbridge) earned four certificates (Bank Compliance, Bank Teller, Call Center Representative and Customer Service Associate).  Lynn Huffman in Machias received two certificates (Customer Service Representative and Supervisor).  Greg Jones in Rockland received three diplomas (Commercial Lending, Consumer Lending and General Banking).  Several employees earned three certificates: Candy Pendleton in Winter Harbor (Bank Compliance, Bank Teller and Supervisor); April Coombs in Deer Isle (Customer Service Representative, Customer Service Associate and Supervisor); and Penny Brandy at the Customer Service Center in Ellsworth (Call Center Representative, Customer Service, and Supervisor).
