Carson Anthony Martel Welcomed as Mid Coast Hospital's First Baby of 2019
Brunswick, ME — Mid Coast Hospital announced its first baby of 2019. Carson Anthony Martel was born at 1:03 a.m. on January 1, 2019 to Shelby Martel of Brunswick, Maine.
As with all babies born in Maine, Carson is eligible for the Harold Alfond® College Challenge to receive a $500 grant toward NextGen College Investing Plan® account. The Alfond Scholarship Foundation, an organization started by beloved Maine philanthropist Harold Alfond, launched the program to ensure access to higher education for all Maine’s children.
