Cast Your Vote for Maine's First Ship

By entering Maine's First Ship into the Bangor Savings Internet Site for Community Matters under Sagadahoc County you can cast a vote that will give MFS a shot at a $5000.00 Grant.   For Maine residents only, you will need to enter your Maine zip code.  Log into Bangor Savings Community Matters More 

Follow instructions for online voting.  To write in "Maine's First Ship" which qualifies as a "write-in" nomination, click on "Other" following the printed entries for the Knox/Lincoln/Sagadahoc/Waldo region and type in "Maine's First Ship".  You can only vote once, so spread the word to as many people as possible.  Online voting is open now through February 28th, 2014 11:59PM.

About the grants:  A total of 68 grants will be awarded to the organizations listed on the ballot and to the top 20 write-in vote recipients (at least two write-ins per region).  The top vote-getting organizations in each region (including write-ins) will receive $5000 each.  The remaining 60 top votes will receive $1000 each.  We have a really great chance to win dollars for Virginia and our education programs if everyone VOTES!!!
