Celebrate Women & Define Your Own Beautiful!

A BENEFIT for the American Heart Association of Maine

WHEN: Saturday May 19^th, 2012

TIME: 10:00AM - 3:00PM

WHERE: Village Candle Offices, above Reny’s, Topsham Fair Mall, Topsham, ME

Maine Street Events, LLC  and Sweet Melissa’s Photography are proud to present “Celebrating Women”, a women owned businesses expo on Saturday May 19^th from 10AM to 3pm. Join over 25 women and their businesses at the former Village Candle offices in the Topsham Fair Mall, above the new Reny’s location.  There will be a wide variety of skills and wares from housewares, to jewelry, to skin care, to life coaching, to photography sessions, massage and energy workshops.  This is a benefit for the American Heart Association of Maine (AHA), and the staff of the AHA will be on hand to discuss the dangers of ignoring heart disease signs. 

“Heart Disease is the number one killer of women today,” stated Amanda Similien, owner of Maine Street Events. “It is important to support their work, through community events like this. I have close friends and family who have been affected by heart disease and I feel it is important to support their work and dedication to the Maine people.”   Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Maine Chapter of the AHA.  Vendors donated door prizes that will be drawn throughout the day.  Guests can earn more chances through purchases and consultations with the vendors, or buying chances.  All these funds will be directly donated to the AHA.

Unfortunately this event is on a second floor and is not handicapped accessible.
