Donna Mills-Stevens and Adam Dow Join Bar Harbor Bank & Trus

Midcoast, Maine- Curtis C. Simard, President and CEO of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, along with the Board of Directors, is pleased to welcome Donna Mills-Stevens, AVP/Retail & Residential Lending, and Adam Dow, AVP/Retail & Residential Lending to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. 

Donna Mills Stevens, AVP/ Retail & Residential Lending, works with customers at the Augusta, South China and Rockland locations of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.  She assists customers in obtaining home mortgages and equity loans.  Donna has a 15 year career in banking, starting as a Customer Account Manager II with MBNA, then a Mortgage Loan Officer II at Banknorth, Business Development Officer at Kennebec Federal Savings Bank, Assistant Store Manager at TD Bank, and most recently a Mortgage Loan Officer II at Key Bank, prior to joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust.

 Born and raised in Waterville, Donna is a graduate of Fairfield High School.  She attended Thomas College and is a National Association of Mortgage Underwriters Certified Master Mortgage Underwriter (CMMU).  Donna moved to China 20 years ago and is an active member of Sunrise Rotary, Mid Maine Chamber of Commerce, and the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors. Donna and her husband, Elwood, own Stevens Dairy Farm in China, Maine with over 300 head of cattle and milking cows; a supplier to Oakhurst Dairy.  When not at work or on the farm, Donna enjoys snowmobiling and skiing in Northern Maine.

Adam Dow, AVP/ Retail & Residential Lending, works from the Topsham branch of Bar Harbor Bank & Trust at 2 Main Street.  He assists customers in obtaining home mortgages and equity loans.  Before joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, Adam was a Business Development officer at Norway Savings Bank.  Previously he worked as a Financial Services Representative at TD Bank and a Customer Service Representative at Mechanics Savings Bank where he started his banking career in 2008. 

Born and raised in Auburn, Adam is a graduate of Edward Little High School.  He holds a bachelor’s degree from Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire and is currently pursuing his MBA at Southern New Hampshire University in Brunswick.  Adam is a member of the Lewiston-Auburn Rotary Club, Auburn Citizen’s Advisory Committee, Auburn Business Association, and YPLAA/Chamber of Commerce.  In his leisure time, Adam enjoys hiking, cycling, and fishing. He resides in Auburn with his wife, Hillary, and their two young children.
