FALL into Wellness & Sustainability

September 22, 2014

FALL into Wellness & Sustainability

As you may know we kicked off our Holistic Happy Hour at Long Branch Holistic Wellness Center at Celebrate Bowdoinham.  We met many wonderful people looking for help resolving their health issues. And this got me thinking. So... what is the difference between being “well” and holistic wellness? Wellness is the condition of being in optimum health. It is a holistic blend of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being--the result of consciously choosing to live a quality life. The path of natural health and wellness is a life-long journey that requires personal responsibility and commitment. Holistic Health Providers emphasize the importance of the whole and the interdependence of its parts. It is the recognition that what affects one part or system affects the whole person. A holistic approach to health is multi-faceted and mindful of the consequences of our habits and actions.

Our next Holistic Happy Hour will be Friday, October 24th 3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.  We will offer mini-sessions of: acupuncture, massage, nutritional coaching, and energy healing at much reduced rates.

Also, starting in October we will be offering two wonderful classes for your well being:  Yoga and Tai Chi
