At-A-Glance: What you should know about these jobs

All warehouse jobs are physically demanding. A sample of our jobs include Receiving, Stocking (lifting jobs) and Picking and Packing.

Pay: Pay below includes a $3 differential for 2020

1st shift $15.50 - $18.22

2nd shift $17.50 - $20.25 A nighttime differential adds $1/hour after 11pm.

Material Handler jobs start at $16.72 for 1st shift jobs and $18.75/hour on second shift. Again, a nighttime differential adds $1/hour after 11pm.

Shifts and Schedules:

  • Keep in mind, the more days you are available, the more you will work. Mondays and weekend days/nights are key.
  • Minimum shift requirements: 3 shifts a week. 1st shift is an 8-hour shift;
    2nd shift can be 6,7, or 8 hours – after 4pm

Note: Lifting jobs (Material Handlers) pay the most – After accepting this type of job, you must clear a Dynamic Strength Test (LLB on site clinic) If you are interested, answer Yes to the lifting question, and then tell us if you can reach to 78” on the application

Face Coverings:

All employees are required to wear face coverings (mask or shield) while in the building except for break areas and conference rooms while seated.

Social Distancing:

Staying six feet apart - Furniture has been removed, rearranged, or altered in common areas, such as break areas and hallways, and in all work areas so employees can follow our strict social distancing rules.

Poly Shields are in place in a variety of building locations, including in Security entrances, cafeteria, and as barriers between workstations

Floor markings show desired traffic flow, including one way/do not enter messages. Lines for offices, café, restrooms etc. are clear.

Spreading out

  • There is a strict limit on the number of people who can be in the building
  • Reduced and distanced seating in common areas
  • Single occupancy in elevators
  • Leaving every other pack bench empty
  • Multiple entrances help to spread out traffic coming in and out of the building
  • Multiple 6’ social distancing reminders

Cleaning/Sanitization:

Minimizing or eliminating common touch points:

  • Pin pads: Removed need to enter PIN at security turnstiles
  • Door handles: Building entrance and other doors are left open where possible

Keeping it Clean:

  • Turnstiles sanitized throughout the day and night
  • Numerous hand sanitizing station throughout the building
  • “Sanitized” notes let employees know each time a surface has been sanitized
  • Cleaning wipes are provided in all conference rooms and in break areas
  • No shared tools / supplies. Tools and supplies are being assigned to employees and gloves are provided when tools can’t be shared
  • Wipes are provided at common touch points
  • At the start and end of each day, each employee cleans their work bench and tools
