Mid Coast Senior Health Earns Awards for Excellence

Independent customer satisfaction firm rates all forms of Mid Coast senior care among the nation’s best.

BRUNSWICK, Maine – Mid Coast Senior Health’s four communities of care have been recognized by Pinnacle Quality Insights as 2023 Customer Experience Award winners. Honors were earned by skilled nursing and rehabilitation at Bodwell, long-term care at Mere Point, assisted living at Thornton Hall and memory care at The Garden.

To be chosen for this distinction, the facility must score in the top 15% of care providers across the nation over a 12-month average. The extensive review covers between 12 and 15 open-ended questions answered by residents and loved ones over the phone.

“While there is certainly always room for improvement, our team takes great pride in this national recognition,’’ said Kim Watson, Multi-Level Nursing Administrator of Mid Coast Senior Living Center. “The award represents our caregivers’ ongoing commitment to providing the best experience possible for our residents and their loved ones.

Nearly all of the comments of the survey were praiseworthy.

“I appreciate that Mom is safe and well taken care of,’’ one family member said. “They come in and socialize with my Mother who enjoys the company.”

“The staff has a strong commitment to their residents,’’ said another respondent to the survey.

“They staff exhibit friendliness, attentiveness and respect to the resident. They are professional and real genuine people. We were very impressed.”
