Opticians at Smart EyeCare Centers pass National Opticianry Competency Exam (NOCEO)

The American Board of Opticianry (ABO) is pleased to announce that Chris Bennett, Whitney Hodgdon, Kelsey Parker, and Alison Smart,  opticians at Smart EyeCare Centers in Augusta, Bangor, Bath and Farmingdale,  have recently demonstrated the knowledge and skills necessary for the effective practice of Opticianry by passing the national competency examination, the National Opticianry Competency Exam (NOCE).  

The NOCE is a job-related exam, which accurately measures technical optical dispensing knowledge, and is administered nationwide twice a year.
