Speakers Wanted for 7th Annual Mainebiz Momentum Convention

May 19, 2016

Mainebiz is returning to the Augusta Civic Center for its 7th Annual Momentum Convention on Wednesday, November 9th, 2016.  Speaker proposals are now being accepted for the Convention, Maine’s premier business-to-business event with programming this year focused on “Navigating Maine’s Future.” We are looking to provide our attendees with valuable take-away information that business people in Maine can use to navigate their way to success in areas such as human resources, financing, marketing, regulations, technology, corporate culture, health care/wellness, succession planning, and best practices in management. More specifically we are  looking for topics and presenters to address the new Maine worker, the new Maine workplace, and the new Maine economy.

Mainebiz U presenters must have the depth and breadth of experience and expertise to present relevant, timely and interesting information in a concise and organized fashion. It is important that speakers have a command of the room, ability to engage the audience and be able to provide quality materials and takeaways. All sessions must be educational, promotional presentations will not be considered.  If you have previously presented sessions that have qualified for CEU credits, please let us know.

The Convention schedule includes three Mainebiz U sessions covering a broad base of business topics. Each session will last 60 minutes, including a brief Q&A, with starting times of 9:30am, 10:50am and 1:00pm. Proposed sessions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Mainebiz U Steering Committee and must be educational, have a well-defined focus, be relevant to the industry, include practical applications of material and be timely.

Visit www.momentumconvention.com  for more information and to submit a speaker proposal. The deadline is Friday, June 17th, 2016. For any questions, contact Linda Varrell at lindav@broadreachpr.com
