Sweetser: New Location in Rockland

Sweetser Now Located at 360 Old County Road, Rockland

 Sweetser, a nonprofit mental health organization with locations throughout Maine, has opened a new location in Rockland, at 360 Old County Road. This new location will offer combined services previously located at offices in Rockport and Rockland.

 Services available include child and adult case management, outpatient therapy, medication management and substance abuse. Referrals and appointments can be made through the PromiseLine at 1-800-434-3000.

 You can also walk in to the new location for Same-Day Access which allows you to access immediate mental health assistance and support, whether you have a single-service need or require more in-depth services. This service provides those seeking assistance with rapid access to a wide variety of behavioral health and substance abuse services. In most cases, a behavioral health professional will provide new clients with a same-day assessment to quickly match them with services and assistance needed.

 Since 1828, Sweetser has been providing mental health services to some of Maine’s most vulnerable populations. Sweetser helps over 20,000 children, adults and families annually, at locations throughout Maine, providing services addressing substance use issues and mental health concerns ranging from depression and anxiety to persons with severe mental illness.
