The Mid Coast Hospital Classic 21st Annual Golf Fore! Health Tournament

The Mid Coast Hospital Classic 21st Annual Golf Fore! Health Tournament is scheduled for September 10, at the Brunswick Golf Club. All proceeds from the tournament help Mid Coast Hospital provide the very best health and wellness services to the community.

The annual golf tournament directly supports the heath education programs offered by Mid Coast Hospital’s Center for Community Health and Wellness. Programs that benefit from the funds raised include cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, adult and children’s health programs, outpatient nutrition, weight loss, tobacco cessation, and asthma education.

“Improving the health of our community is a cornerstone of Mid Coast’s vision to transform healthcare,” said Steven Trockman, Director of Community Health and Wellness at Mid Coast Hospital.

North East Mobile Health Services has been the lead sponsor of the tournament since 2001. Bath Savings Institution, Bowdoin College, Kennebec Pharmacy & Home Care, and Norton Insurance and Financial Services each contributed Platinum level sponsorships. Bernstein Shur and FHC, Inc. donated at the Gold level. Silver level sponsors include Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union, Cammack Retirement Group, CD&M Communications, Goodwin Motor Group, Grossman Marketing Group, Johnson & Jordan Mechanical Contractors, and Norway Savings Bank. Several other local and statewide businesses also showed their support by donating challenge prizes, raffle prizes, and refreshments.

“We value this important event and the continued partnership with local businesses that support our mission to create meaningful health and wellness opportunities,” said Trockman.
