On Wednesday July 11, the Don Campbell Band will play the Center for Grieving Children’s second annual Midsummer Night’s Soiree benefit concert at Vinegar Hill in Arundel. The evening begins with a social hour (including hors d’oeuvres) at 6pm and is followed by a 7pm program and benefit concert. Don Campbell is a singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. Having opened for acts including Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith and Willy Nelson, Don Campbell writes in genres including adult contemporary, country, bluegrass, and rock. In his career, Don has released 12 CDs, most recently a two-disc, 23-song collection, "Kites To Fly: Celebrating The Music Of Dan Fogelberg". Co-based in Portland, Maine and Nashville, TN, Don averages between 150-200 performances per year.
