Dr. Joe Hall, Professor of Indian, Colonial and Environmental History at Bates College, will be sharing his research of and passion for the Wabanakis, Maine's indigenous peoples. In his lecture, he will be speaking about the many layers of meaning that Wabanaki place names hold and what clues they offer to how Wabanakis have inhabited their homelands in the midst of colonization and dispossession.
