Community Calendar

Independence Association (IA), a community collaborator since 1966, has expanded to a new office space up in the Brunswick Industrial Park.  We will be celebrating that move with a Ribbon Cutting and After Hours, along with our friends at the Brunswick Downtown Association, on Wednesday, November 20.    

The new space is at 3 Industrial Parkway in Brunswick, and the ribbon cutting will happen at 5:15PM with the entire event running from 5PM to 7PM.  If you haven’t been to an After Hours lately, this may be a good one to get to.  We have had over 100 attendees at After Hours multiple times in 2019, and with the BDA inviting people as well as us, we are likely to see numbers like that again. 

The After Hours will be co-hosted by Ouellet Construction who is the company that helped renovate the new space for IA.  Ouellet Construction is a family-owned business that began in Madawaska in 1959, who now has its headquarters, as a neighbor to IA the Industrial Park in Brunswick.  They have done projects all over the State and are a well-respected building firm. 

So come meet your Chamber friends, your BDA friends, the Independence Association team and the Ouellet Construction team on November 20 (and also hear about the final preparations for the Midcoast Tree Festival which begins November 22.
