Beth Bisson, from the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will speak about this citizen science program developed by University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Maine Sea Grant, and partnering research scientists in northern New England. Beth will provide an overview of SOS structure, research partnerships, lessons learned, challenges, and next steps. Come learn how we, as citizen scientists, can help this effort. Bring a brown bag lunch; beverages and desserts will be provided.
