Keep your bees healthy!
This two-session course, held Wednesdays February 5th and 12th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm will focus on Honeybee Colony health management through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies. This class will focus on understanding the organisms that pose threats to colony health, early identification of symptoms, and creating a whole system approach to colony health management that works with the bees' natural habits. Students will learn how to identify symptoms within single colonies and whole apiaries, proactively develop apiary management strategies and use “all of the tools in the toolbox” to keep productive, healthy, thriving honeybee colonies.
