Brunswick/Topsham Riverwalk Public Workshop 1:30 PM Fort Andross , Brunswick The Androscoggin Riverwalk Advisory Committee will host a public planning workshop on Saturday, March 14, at 2:30 PM at Fort Andross in Brunswick. The workshop will be preceded by guided tours of the Riverwalk, starting at 1:30 PM from the main entrance to Fort Andross.

The Riverwalk is a 1.25-mile accessible loop on both sides of the Androscoggin River with stunning views of Brunswick and Topsham in all seasons. The Topsham section, through the woods from the Swinging Bridge to Summer Street and then to the Main(e) Street Bridge, is largely complete. The Brunswick portion is the subject of the March 14 planning workshop. It runs from the Main(e) Street Bridge, across the front of Fort Andross, and along Mill Street to the Swinging Bridge.

The workshop will include a presentation on the current status of Riverwalk planning, followed by opportunities for discussion and public comment. Guided tours of the Riverwalk loop will resume after the workshop, beginning at 4:00 PM.
