Join a 12 @ 12 !

After a Covid-induced hiatus, our lunchtime networking series is back and you're invited to join us!

For those who have not experienced a 12 @ 12, it is typically a 90-minute lunch beginning at noon, in which 12 local business leaders get to know each other over a provided lunch by the host.  Basically, we eat for 10-15 minutes, then everyone gets 5 minutes, to talk about their company, and answer questions.  It’s a great way to build a bond with 11 other chamber people. 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEETING VIRTUALLY: With Covid-19 still with us, we will be holding January and February 12 @ 12s over Zoom.  Instead of a lunch provided, we will all be eating at our desks in front of our own Zoom.  We know that in-person is preferred by all, but we need to be sure we are in a safe place Covid-wise before we bring these back in-person. 

We will meet for 60-90 minutes, so that everyone has plenty of time to share and ask each other questions. Executive Director Cory King will be moderating.    

There is NO time to delay in signing up though, as members can attend once annually, which means, your attendance will reset in January, so if you attend in November or December, you are eligible to attend again in 2022.

We will be taking the first 12 people to e-mail Claire at Claire@midcoastmaine.com with one caveat- only two people from each industry will be allowed to attend each 12 @ 12.  If a third person from the same industry signs up for the same 12 @ 12, Claire will discuss moving them to a future 12 @ 12.  This is best for all, as many members wouldn’t want to be in a meeting with more than one other competitor in the same industry.

We intend to keep these on the second Wednesday of every month beginning at noon (with the possibility of one per year being a different date to accommodate any members who may have a standing conflicting meeting on the 2^nd Wednesday at noon).   Again, we will begin to do these in-person as Covid cases lessen, but for now this will be online.
