Chamber Members, interested in meeting up with fellow members to walk some of our public land trust trails? These small group walks are great ways to connect and build relationships while also taking a break from your workplace to recharge outdoors.
The next walk is scheduled for Friday, December 17th at 2pm.
We know it’s getting colder, but there’s so much value in taking a walk together…
These walks have been organized with the support and collaboration of the Brunswick Topsham Land Trust. BTLT has been conserving and protecting land in the region for over 30 years. They protect 25+ miles of public-use trails and over 3,000 acres of conserved land across 65 properties. A proud host of the Saturday Farmers Market at Crystal Spring Farm, they also have an 80+ plot community garden and offer over 30 events and programs each year. BTLT's work is supported by more than 1,000 community and business members. For more information, check out their website www.btlt.org
Crystal Spring Farm trails are part of the BTLT. Here’s a map of where we’ll be walking, if you’re not familiar. We'll be taking the Maine Loop from the parking near the Tom Settlemire Community Garden.
These organized walks are open to SMMC members. Spots are limited (6-8) to be mindful of parking availability and to create a small group experience. Please e-mail Claire (claire@midcoastmaine.com) to sign up; she willing be leading the walks.
We hope you’ll join us and please reach out with any questions!
