Singing for Their Supper at the Taste of Brunswick – September 28, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The BDA and Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program have combined events to support the new Backpack Program, designed to feed hungry students and their families in eight Midcoast communities. The Backpack Program will expand an existing nationwide effort to provide low-income families with nutritional assistance on Saturdays and Sundays. This latest expansion of the program will provide nutritious food to approximately 200 kids. Help support this program by bringing your family and friends to Singing for Their Supper at the Taste of Brunswick. Many of the area's finest restaurants will showcase their specialties including Bombay Mahal, The Great Impasta, Trattoria Athena, Frontier Cafe, Sea Dog Brewing Company, The Tavern at the Inn at Brunswick Station, Tao Yuan, Brunswick Inn, Gelato Fiasco Big Top Deli, Pancho Villa, Lemongrass and more! There will be a beer tent sponsored by Sea Dog Brewing Company, featuring a selection of their locally brewed beers. Musical entertainment by the Alternate Routes and several other local Maine bands. The event will take place rain or shine. No pets or coolers, please.
