Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation 5:30 PM Water Street Yoga , Bath

Bath, ME. Walter Briggs will teach a five-week Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation class at Water Street Yoga beginning Thursday, April 19 from 5:30-7pm. Suggested donation is $60.

Mindfulness Meditation is the practice of being aware of the body, feelings, emotions, and thoughts without judgement and the cultivation of self-compassion. Benefits may include reduced anxiety, improved focus and sleep, and enhanced resilience among many others.

Walter is a long-time meditator and is currently in the middle of a two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.

Walter is also available to teach in corporate and non-profit settings on a sliding scale fee basis.
