For more than 110 years, the American Lung Association has led the fight for healthy lungs and healthy air. The American Lung Association in Maine has planned, organized, and executed the Trek Across Maine for the past 34 years in order to support our mission. As the single largest fundraiser across the country for the ALA, the Trek is a vital piece to ensure we are able to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through education, advocacy, and research.
