Community Mini-grants Available
Community organizations, worksites, schools, youth groups, daycares, and others in Sagadahoc County, Brunswick and Harpswell are encouraged to apply for up to $500 to make a change that supports healthy choices in their community. For details, download the 2011 Supporting Healthy Choices application (word document, also attached), or contact Melissa Fochesato, 207-373-6957. Applications are due November 18, 2011.
Preference will be given to projects that support environmental or policy change – examples of such projects are included in the application packet.
All projects must meet the requirements of Access Health’s Healthy Maine Partnership Grant. Applicants are encouraged to contact staff with questions.

Eligibility for worksite mini-grants:
In order to qualify for the mini-grant, all worksites will be required to work with Linda Christie, worksite wellness coordinator, to complete the Healthy Maine Works assessment, develop a brief work plan and implement at least one objective from their work plan using the mini-grant funds.
