MAINEBIZ HONORS 2011 WOMEN TO WATCH

AT THE HOLIDAY INN BY THE BAY ON SEPTEMBER 15

Mainebiz will host a reception on Sept. 15 to honor its 2011 Women to Watch honorees at The Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland. This year’s honorees are recognized in five categories: Patricia Quinn, Executive Director of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, represents the Nonprofit category; Louise Jonaitis, CEO of Saunders Bros. at Locke Mills LLC, represents the Manufacturing category; Colleen Hilton, CEO of VNA Home Health & Hospice, represents the Health Care category; Beth Shissler, President of Sea Bags, represents the Woman-Owned Business category; and Danielle Ripich, President of the University of New England, represents the Education category

“We are inspired by the work of these exceptional women executives,” says Carol Coultas, editor of Mainebiz. “Their vision and dedication to their organizations and their communities serve as an example for us all.

The five Women to Watch honorees were profiled in the Aug. 8h issue of Mainebiz. The Women to Watch program recognizes business leaders from one of the fastest growing segments of Maine’s economy.

A reception to honor the 2011 Women to Watch will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland on September 15th. Registration is $40.
