Gardens Annual Meeting with Barry Dana
The public is invited to Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens’ Education Center at 2 p.m., Sunday, September 18, to learn what’s new and to hear keynote speaker Barry Dana. A leader of the Penobscot nation and a master of traditional Native American crafts, Dana was an Expert-in-Residence at the Gardens this summer, creating a birch-bark canoe and last year built the wigwam, using traditional methods for both.
