Kate Furbish Exhibit, Auction, Lecture

In a collaboration with Bowdoin College, Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens will present an exhibit of reproductions of “Flora of Maine” illustrations by botanist Kate Furbish (1834-1931), of plants that grow at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, from September 20-30, with a free event September 24, 3-6 p.m. featuring an auction, lecture by her biographers, Ada Graham and Frank Graham, Jr.; comments by Dr. Richard Lindemann of Bowdoin; and wine and hors d’oeuvers.
