Midcoast Senior College presents a FREE talk, "Maine's Civil War History" with Heather Moran. Sponsored by The Highlands of Topsham, Maine, the impact of the Civil War on Maine will be discussed using the collections of the Maine State Archives, the most comprehensive collection of Civil War documents of any state. The topic will be viewed at the local level with accounts of Mainers who contributed to or participated in the war effort. Heather Moran is Head of Archives Services at Maine State Archives and was formerly president of the Assoc. of Maine Archives & Museums.
