Midcoast Senior College presents a FREE talk, “Preserving the Darks Skies of Maine” with Rob Burgess. Sponsored by The Highlands of Topsham, Maine, this talk will explain the “dark sky” movement and efforts around the world to address light pollution and, importantly, what we can do in our homes and communities to mitigate it. Rob Burgess is a founding member and current president of Southern Maine Astronomers and serves as Vice-Chair of the Brunswick Planning Board. He is a graduate of Colby College and the University of Maine School of Law.
