Community Calendar

Maritime historian and sea cook Sam Collins creates a 17th century meal over an open fire featuring local products. Maine's First Ship invites you to explore history and community by stepping back in time and joining us for lunch! Tickets are limited. For more information and tickets visit mfship.org/events.

Visit the boatyard between 9am and 12noon for displays and demonstrations as the meal is prepared. There will be hands-on butter churning; sailor's provisions and cooking supplies on display; and discussion with historian Mike Dekker of the impact contact and trade had on both Indigenous American and European foodways.
