Community Calendar

September 26 from 7 to 10 will be an evening of poetry, story, essay and theatre written and performed by local veterans.  We have been gathering under the direction of Al D'Andrea, professional actor/director and founder of Portland's Snowlion Repertory Company, to create and communicate works about military and life experience to each other, loved ones and a larger audience.  The evening will be the latest work of the Maine Veterans Art Project to use visual art, writing, music and drama for self-expression, connecting to other veterans and informing the public.
