If you have a child that baby sits or is ever home alone, you may want them to take the Baby Sitting & Home Alone Safety Class offered by Mid Coast Hospital. This fun, one-day class is great for children 11 years of age and older who want to be responsible babysitters and who sometimes care for themselves as well. The class covers safety and AHA first aid training, fire safety tips, choking prevention, safe discipline, household safety, when and how to call 911, and more. The class will be held from 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 13th, at the Medical Office Building in Suite 3208 on 121 Medical Center Drive in Brunswick.
