The students and staff at Region Ten Technical High School, 68 Church Road, Brunswick, invite the public to the annual Open House on Wednesday, November 14, 5:00-7:00 PM.

Supper will be served to the public, compliments of the Food Trades Restaurant and the White Owl Cafe (General Trades)—the varied menu will include chicken salad sandwiches and mini pizzas, accented by appetizers and dessert squares. All attendees may work with bricks and mortar, witness fire control, observe automobile airbag demonstrations, and witness welding clinics while volunteering for free blood pressure checks. Raffles will be held for a cedar bench (Building Trades), a reconditioned snow blower (Outdoor Power) and fire-place log holders (Metal Fabrication and Welding), to name just a few of the raffle items. Patrons must visit six programs to be eligible for winning.

What is more, sixteen College, work place, and military representatives will set up in the Multi-Purpose Room, eager to meet students and parents and discuss opportunities after high school. All instructors will be available to talk to parents, students, and potential students.

“Historically, our Open Houses are well at-tended by the Region Ten community,” mentioned Di-rector Barry Lohnes. “We offer food and activities for all ages, as gratitude to our citizens, many of whom have supported Region Ten since the seventies.”

Region Ten Technical High School provides a technical education to students from Brunswick, RSU No. 5 (Durham, Freeport, and Penal), and MSAD 75 (Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Harpswell, and Topsham). Visitors are welcome, especially when students are present, from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
