Woodfords Family Services is hosting its 3rd annual 5K to raise funds for young children with autism and raise autism awareness. This year's run route is a USATF certified course (ME09002RF). Registration opens at 8 a.m.; the run starts at 9 a.m. Rain or shine. Registration fees are $20 for adults (18+), $10 for teens (13-17) and youth (8-12), children 7 and under are free. Race t-shirt for the first 200 entrants. Register online at Active.com, or call (207) 878-9663. Walk-ins welcome the day of the race - adults $25, all other registration fees are the same. Prizes awarded for top finishers in each category. Event is family and dog friendly. FMI visit www.woodfords.org. Proceeds will benefit Woodfords' preschools in Oakland, Topsham and Westbrook.
